Originating from Guancheng District of Zhengzhou in 2009, Kunpeng Food made its debut with a classic beef-flavored stick product. This core item, still popular nationwide after market iterations, opened the door to the spicy strips market with its consistent taste and authentic flavor, quickly securing a foothold in the industry and attracting a large number of loyal consumers.
Driven by the expansion of product lines and surging market demand, the original production base could no longer meet the brand’s growth rate. In 2012, relying on the industrial advantages of Luohe, a famous food city, the company invested 12 million yuan to build a standardized production line with an annual output of 30,000 tons of seasoned flour products, realizing the first leapfrog upgrade of production capacity and laying a solid foundation for large-scale product supply.
After five years of craftsmanship accumulation and strategic development, Kunpeng Food entered a rapid development stage. In terms of R&D, a professional team was established to cater to consumers’ taste preferences, launching diversified products with spicy, numbing-spicy and sweet-spicy flavors, achieving a breakthrough from a single product to a full-category coverage. In terms of channels, the company broke the traditional offline-only model and built a dual-line sales network covering major e-commerce platforms such as Tmall, JD and Taobao online, and national supermarket chains offline. With the core advantages of rich flavors, excellent quality and affordable prices, Kunpeng Food has won wide recognition from consumers and the market.
In 2017, the company acquired Xiangcheng Pengwang Food Co., Ltd. to integrate resources and double production capacity, achieving the second leap of large-scale development. In 2022, it merged Luohe Runtong Food Co., Ltd. and officially established Luohe Kunpeng Food Co., Ltd. as the corporate headquarters, ushering in a new chapter of standardized, large-scale and diversified development.
Today, Kunpeng Food covers an area of 60 mu with 20,000 square meters of standardized workshops and a full-chain modern production line, realizing integrated control from raw material selection, processing and quality inspection to finished product storage.
